What is everyone actually running right now?
Mid-session, an hour into a live triage call. Several tasks have been claimed and nobody is certain which have landed. Anyone in the room can ask.
The Owner accepts the output. It may be relied upon within the limits the Owner states, and subject to any approval the profile requires.
- Caller
- Status.
status - Developer B
- Mati reporting. The double-click fix on the triage card is up for review, along with the loading bugs and the layout issues. Still running: the agent indicator upgrades, and the redesign of the sidebar header.
reporting - Developer A
- Reporting. The title height fix is closed, you checked it yourself. Nothing else open.
reporting - Designer
- Reporting — nothing open.
reporting - Caller
- Good, so the indicator work is the only thing I'm waiting on before the demo.
Nothing was claimed, prompted, or closed here — a status call moves no work. What it produced is the one thing the per-task loop cannot: an accurate picture of what is in flight, held by everybody at once. Note that the designer answered even though she held nothing. "Nothing open" is an answer; silence would have left the room unsure whether she had been forgotten or simply had nothing to say. Note too that the caller was not the chair and did not need to be — anyone may ask.
