Nobody else in the room acknowledged, and nobody needed to. Naming Midhun before the call type told everyone at once that this was not a question for them, which is the whole point: a room practising the loop should not have to choose between stopping five people for a question that concerns one of them, and stepping outside the protocol and losing the record. Everything after the call is unchanged — he still restated, still spoke the prompt aloud, still labelled the result preliminary, and the engineer of record still closed it.

Real situation, reconstructed dialogue. The underlying exchange — a contractor asserting a fire damper was not on the drawings when the general notes required it — is taken from a recorded project dispute. The protocol dialogue is written, because the Standard was not in use at the time.
